Kanazawa Odori (Geisha Dance Performance)
金沢おどり
September 19–20 (about 2 hours per performance)
Kanazawa retains three active geisha districts, and their arts are usually seen only at private teahouse banquets. Kanazawa Odori brings performers from all three together on a public stage one minute from Kanazawa Station — an opening ensemble of traditional music, taiko drumming, and a grand finale dance. Ticketed; book well ahead.
