Matsunami Ningyo Kiriko Festival
松波人形キリコ祭り

In the town of Matsunami, each neighborhood decorates its kiriko lantern float with a themed "ningyo" (doll) display, and the creations are judged in a friendly competition. Visit in the afternoon to appreciate the craftsmanship, then stay for the lantern-lit evening procession.
