Nanao Gion Festival
七尾祇園祭
July 11 (2nd Saturday of July)
Unlike most Noto kiriko festivals held in remote coastal villages, the Nanao Gion Festival takes place in the city center, a short walk from JR Nanao Station. Lantern floats large and small converge on Onushi Shrine and dance late into the night.
