Oide Festival (Heikokusai)
平国祭(おいで祭り)
March 18–20 (shortened schedule in 2026)
Held each March, the Oide ("welcome") Festival sees a procession from the ancient Keta Taisha Shrine tour communities across Noto, a tradition tied to the myth of the deity Okuninushi pacifying the region. Locals say the Noto cold lasts "until the Oide comes." In 2026 the route runs over three days, March 18–20.
