北國花火 金沢大会
July 25, from 19:50 (rain date July 26)
Held in late July on the Sai River floodplain, the Hokkoku Fireworks is the one chance each year to see a major fireworks display from central Kanazawa. Around 12,000 shells light up the river. Take the shuttle bus from Kanazawa Station — there is no public parking — and arrive early for a riverside spot between Saigawa Bridge and Sakura Bridge.
