Hyakumangoku Odori Nagashi (Street Dance Parade)
百万石踊り流し
June 6, 18:00–20:00 (part of the Hyakumangoku Festival)
After the samurai parade ends, central Kanazawa's Route 157 is closed to traffic and about 9,000 dancers in matching costumes flow down the avenue in a "nagashi" (flowing) dance, watched by some 70,000 people along the roadside. Three folk songs repeat in rotation, and there is a drop-in section where individual visitors can join without applying in advance.
