Katayamazu Onsen Summer Fireworks
加賀温泉郷 納涼花火まつり in 片山津温泉
Every night August 1–30, around 21:00 (about 10 minutes)
The hot spring town of Katayamazu runs one of Japan's rare month-long fireworks series — about 200 shells over Shibayama Lagoon every night in August, starting around 9pm. The reflections on the lagoon are the draw; watch from the lakeside park, or better, from a lake-view onsen inn after dinner in your yukata.
