Wakura Onsen Summer Fireworks
和倉温泉夏花火(和倉名物三尺玉)
Cancelled in 2026 (resumption date TBD)
In normal years, Wakura Onsen's summer fireworks feature a "sanjakudama" — a 90cm shell blooming some 600 meters across over Nanao Bay, the largest in Hokuriku. The 2026 editions (spring and summer) were cancelled as the seawall and ryokan district continue recovering from the 2024 earthquake. This page records the festival awaiting its return.
